There is an option to get an even longer life battery but I did not opt for the option for the review. TYT 10W High Power Dual Band VHF UHF Handheld Ham Radio

It features a tri band frequency range along display with a ANI display remote stun, kill, revive, inspect, and monitor of selected frequencies. It is recommended to utilize a Nagoya NA-320A antenna. I used the PC03 FTDI cable to easily program the radio and it was straight forward. Features VOX talk around mode and busy channel lock out which comes in handy. It also has a frequency reverse squelch tail elimination work mode. Includes a 1500 mAh battery a V-85 antenna, a 220mHz single band antenna a charger and a earpiece.
